During this period, I have developed and refined my skills in many areas including, staff hospital nurse (medical surgical, Acute observation unit, telemetry, emergency room and community nursing ), medical billing and collection supervisor, case management, prior authorization, utilization management, utilization review, quality assurance, manage care audit, NCQA, JCAHO, CDPH compliance, evaluating Medicare (CMS) and Medi-Cal programs (DHCS), physicians, pharmacy, clinics, skilled nursing facility, durable medical equipment, hospice, laboratory, adult day health care, FQHC and other health care facilities. I worked as a nurse consultant and Director of Nursing to providers of Intermediate Care Facilities (DD, DD-N & DD-H), Residential Care Facilities, ARF, Adult Residential Facility for Person with Special Health Care needs (ARFPSHN), Assisted living, Community Care and Boarding Care, Home Health Care, Hospice, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Adult Day Health Care, Regional Centers (SCLARC) Home Health Agency, manage healthcare, Medical Staffing and Hospice to prepare them for compliance survey, licensing and Certifications.
